Mystic Games Painting Competition 2023

The event will be a £10 entry and run from 1st October to 1st December. Pieces must fit on no bigger than a 60mm base, models can overhang but it must stand on its own from a 60mm point which can be round, oval or square. Painters will be scored out of 10 points in four different categories for a maximum of 40 points.
The categories are as follows:
Painting – Smoothness of blends, sharpness of highlights etc
Originality – Is the piece a standard kit or a culmination of different kits?
Conversion – How much of the stand kit has changed? Is there any greenstuff/modelling work?
Basing – Is the base just a Citadel technical paint or is it made from different materials?
The piece must be a new creation that is made during the competition period so that everyone is given the same and fair chance.
The top 3 painters will receive store credit as prizing, this will be based on how many painters enter.
